Catalog Designing Course

Introduction to Catalog Making

• In this section, students shall be guided different types of catalogs, use and dynamics.

Introduction to Designing Software

• In this section CorelDraw shall be taught. Installation, working with or without internet shall be guided.  Students shall learn about the interface, tools, and color plates of this software.

Collecting Designs and templates of Catalog

• In this section, students shall learn how and where to collect and download the catalog designs and templets from. They will get inspiration and start working on one catalog design.

Products for Catalog

• In this section students shall be guided to decide whether how much product per page they want to design per page. This decision shall be the base for their catalog outlook, communication and presentation styles.  Furthermore, they will be guided how to edit products, removing backgrounds and logos thereon.

Setting up Catalog

• In this section students shall be guided about the Title Page, Contents of the Catalog and the page setup for catalog making.

Conversion Exporting

• In this section students shall be guided about the different types of formats for exporting the catalog like .jpg, .pdf., .png etc.

Compression

• This section will be for the compression of the catalog so it can be compressed and the size should be made up to that extent that it can be communicated through WhatsApp, Email or can be uploaded onto website.
